\n\n\nAdditional Event Information & Acknowledgement o
f Industry Sponsor(s):\nThis event is sponsored and hosted by the Local EAA
/IMC Club Chapter and the FAA Safety Team.\n\n\nWhat is the EAA/IMC Club?\n
\n\nEAA/IMC Club is the brainchild of Radek Wyrzykowski, Instrument and Mul
ti-Engine Instructor. As a flight instructor in Norwood, Massachusetts, Rad
ek developed a volunteer mentor program to help instrument pilots improve t
heir proficiency, and they loved it.\n\n\nWhat is the purpose of EAA/IMC Cl
ub?\n\n\nAt EAA/IMC Club, our aim is to promote instrument flying, proficie
ncy, and safety. Along with IFR flying and monthly local meetings, we offer
a resource-rich website which provides an electronic experience base.\n\n\
nOur intent is to create a community of pilots to share information, provid
e recognition, foster communications, promote safety and build proficiency
in instrument flying. EAA/IMC Club offer monthly meetings in which pilots c
an network and share knowledge and experiences.\n\n\nDo you need to bring a
nything?\n\n\nFirst, bring your thoughts or story and be willing to share t
hem with the group. This meeting is very interactive. Participation by the
group is a fundamental element to the EAA/IMC Club meeting.\n\n\nOthers hav
e found it helpful to bring along a copy of their flight manual, GPS manual
, and charts. If you navigate with an iPad, bring it along.\n\n\nWho can at
tend?\n\n\nYou don't need an instrument rating to attend. This meeting is o
pen to all current, non-current, and future instrument pilots.\n\n\nFor mor
e information about the EAA/IMC Club, please visit http://www.eaa.org/imccl
ub\n\n\nEqual Access Information:\nThe FAA Safety Team (FAASTeam) is commit
