amp; Acknowledgement of Industry Sponsor(s):\nThe AZ FAASTeam is being supp
orted by, and we'd like to recognize, the Falcon Field Airport Director, Co
rinne Nystrom, the Copperstate Fly-In Board of Directors, the CopperState F
ly-In Forums Chair John Harlow and the Treasurer and Exhibit Chairman Marty
Kirkhuff for their personal contributions to the FAASTeam. They provide fa
cilities, personnel and logistical support for this annual FAASTeam seminar
conducted as part of the CopperState Fly-In attracting airmen from all ove
 r Arizona.\n\n\n*Seminar runs approximately 11:00 A.M.--1:00 P.M.*\n\n\nAll
Forums during Copperstate are included in the price of Admission. There is
not a separate fee to attend any of the forums.\n\n\nRunway incursions are
a major factor in aviation safety. While many things have been done to red
uce the accident rate in General Aviation and the Air Carrier Industry, bot
h sides of the aviation house are still experiencing far too many runway in
cursions. This could be the result of "Read back - Hear back" issues, poor
airport signage, pilot inattention/knowledge or a combination of factors. R
unway safety is a major concern for all pilots and if you have been around
aviation for a long period of time you have probably seen some close calls
on the runways and taxiways, or even been involved in some yourself. Come l
earn about this Airport and give your input to the Team so they can work on
improving the airport for all who fly there.\n\n\nPilot airspace deviation
s continue to be a major risk in the national airspace system. To reduce th
e chance that you might be involved in an airspace deviation incident, you
are highly encouraged to take an on-line learning center course such as ALC
42, ALC 154, and ALC90 on www.faasafety.gov. Or search the learning librar
y for associated guidance on airspace incursions. Remember, safe and pruden
t airmen have superior situational awareness and have a plan to keep it tha
t way. PDA_Flyer.pdf under (Additional Public Documents) below.\n\n\nThanks
