tor in aviation safety. While many things have been done to reduce the acci
dent rate in General Aviation and the Air Carrier Industry, both sides of t
he aviation house are still experiencing far too many runway incursions. Th
is could be the result of "Read back - Hear back" issues, poor airport sign
age, pilot inattention/knowledge or a combination of factors. Runway safety
is a major concern for all pilots and if you have been around aviation for
a long period of time you have probably seen some close calls on the runwa
ys and taxiways, or even been involved in some yourself. Come learn about t
his Airport and give your input to the Team so they can work on improving t
he airport for all who fly there.\n\n\nPilot airspace deviations continue t
o be a major risk in the national airspace system. To reduce the chance tha
t you might be involved in an airspace deviation incident, you are highly e
ncouraged to take an on-line learning center course such as ALC 42, ALC 154
, and ALC90 on www.faasafety.gov. Or search the learning library for associ
ated guidance on airspace incursions. Remember, safe and prudent airmen hav
e superior situational awareness and have a plan to keep it that way. PDA_F
