If you have a vintage, classic, rest omod, or antique vehicle, let us know and plan to bring it with you. This y ear we will have judging of both aircraft as well as cars (or other vehicle s if you have a pickup, truck, etc.).\nLet me Drone on.\n\nThis year we are adding something new. Because drones have now captured the spotlight as th e new thing to have, we are adding a Drone Dome! This is a netted enclosed area where you can fly (or try to fly) a drone. We are in the process of fi nishing the design of this area but we will make it fun and entertaining.\n Volunteers Needed.\n\nLast year we had over 500 aircraft present and this y ear could be even more. In its 42nd year, this year’s fly-in — scheduled for Thurs, Oc t. 23rd, 2014 - Sat, Oct. 25th, 2014 at the Casa Grande Municipal Airport i n Casa Grande, Ariz. — promises to be no exception.\n\n\nOver the years, CO PPERSTATE has grown exponentially, attracting about 500 aircraft and 5,000 attendees per year representing 10 countries and 40 U.S. states.\n\n\nAtten dees particularly enjoy the wide variety of aircraft on the ground and in t he air — from ultralights, to WWII fighter jets, to “micro-jets” and much m ore. And, we receive many compliments on how family-friendly the event is: Over 1,000 people attend COPPERSTATE’s workshops and forums every year, and several dozen kids participate in our youth activities, including a wing r ib-building workshop.\n\n\nThe annual aircraft judging awards banquet, held on Saturday night of the event, is another crowd-pleaser, attracting about 100 participants per year.\n\n\nLast (but certainly not least), COPPERSTAT E also plays host to about 50 diverse exhibitors.
