 a signature event for not only Marine Corps Air Station Yuma, but also to t
 he entire city of Yuma. What began as a community relations event in 1962 i
 s now an annual celebration of aviation for both military service members a
 nd civilians. The MCAS Yuma Air Show attracts spectators from all over the 
 country. This spectacular event isn’t something that is organized without c
 ommunity involvement, both local and national businesses offer support to t
 his event to ensure that military service members, dependants, veterans, lo
 cal civilians, and travellers are provided with the best quality event poss
 ible.\n\n\nThis year will mark the 51st year of the MCAS Yuma Airshow. What
  better way to celebrate our 51st air show than by honoring those who have 
 fought for a better tomorrow?\n\n\nThe 2013 MCAS Airshow is appropriately t
 hemed, “Saluting our brave and time-honored Korean and Vietnam War Veterans
 .” The event will encompass static displays from the Korean and Vietnam War
  eras, modern aircraft displays- to include the first time public display o
 f the F-35B II Joint Strike Fighter, live air performances, and more. We co
 ntinue to see an exponential growth in the amount of spectators that attend
  the air show. We expect that our 2013 airshow will attract 55,000+ spectat
 ors. The air show industry represents one of the very largest, if not the l
