Same place, new things.

The Copperstate Fly-in and Education Expo will be held again at the Casa Grande Municipal Airport in Casa Grande, Arizona.
We will include antique and vintage cars again this year as it was a welcome addition last year. If you have a vintage, classic, restomod, or antique vehicle, let us know and plan to bring it with you. This year we will have judging of both aircraft as well as cars (or other vehicles if you have a pickup, truck, etc.).

Let me Drone on.

This year we are adding something new. Because drones have now captured the spotlight as the new thing to have, we are adding a Drone Dome! This is a netted enclosed area where you can fly (or try to fly) a drone. We are in the process of finishing the design of this area but we will make it fun and entertaining.

Volunteers Needed.

Last year we had over 500 aircraft present and this year could be even more. Also, if you have the time and desire to help, we need volunteers. If there is a specific area you would like to help out with, let us know.
Check out our new website www.copperstate.org for any information about the show. You will find a full list of individuals who can answer any questions you might have.

We look forward to seeing you in October.

Greetings from the Copperstate Fly-in and Education Expo. Well, the 2015 Copperstate Fly-in is just around the corner! October is coming quickly and we are all hard at work building a better than last year experience. If you like aviation, come down and see what we have been doing. And, if you like airplanes and just like to be around them, we could use your help. Volunteer to help out! There is a complete list of Chairpersons on our website so if there is a specific area you are interested in, please contact them and sign up. We have a great time and it is fun. Hope to see you all in October!

Since 1971, the COPPERSTATE Fly-In & Aviation Expo has been a great place to see a diverse blend of aircraft in action, attend informative workshops and check out the latest, greatest aviation products. In its 42nd year, this year’s fly-in — scheduled for Thurs, Oct. 23rd, 2014 - Sat, Oct. 25th, 2014 at the Casa Grande Municipal Airport in Casa Grande, Ariz. — promises to be no exception.

Over the years, COPPERSTATE has grown exponentially, attracting about 500 aircraft and 5,000 attendees per year representing 10 countries and 40 U.S. states.

Attendees particularly enjoy the wide variety of aircraft on the ground and in the air — from ultralights, to WWII fighter jets, to “micro-jets” and much more. And, we receive many compliments on how family-friendly the event is: Over 1,000 people attend COPPERSTATE’s workshops and forums every year, and several dozen kids participate in our youth activities, including a wing rib-building workshop.

The annual aircraft judging awards banquet, held on Saturday night of the event, is another crowd-pleaser, attracting about 100 participants per year.

Last (but certainly not least), COPPERSTATE also plays host to about 50 diverse exhibitors. In our "big tent," a pilot or aviation enthusiast can find just about anything they're looking for.

For day-by-day event highlights, lots of photos, and a list of the 2012 aircraft judging awards recipients, please spend some time exploring our website and Facebook page.
