Fly or drive to visit the land and the legend of Pancho Villa and his pilots and the Douglas aviator pioneers that made history. To say that the aviation history from this area is “amazing” is an understatement! We had the first aeroplane in AZ, btw, a great group of folks out of the Phoenix area are building a replica of this historical bird in celebration of the AZ Centennial.
Come on down to Douglas and visit our great Border Air Museum (located on the airport) and find out much more about the amazing “Aviation Firsts” of this area and airport that not many people have any idea about! Help us celebrate our Arizona Centennial and join us for breakfast. We offer competitive fuel prices (24/7) and there are no fees to fly in (or drive in!).
Please let us know if you can attend so we have a good estimate for our pancake flippers.
