			<description><![CDATA[The RV-6A is experimental amateur built. The owner of an EAB aircraft can perform any maintenance and is not limited to the preventive maintenance tasks defined in 14 CFR Part 43. Part 43 only applies to the extent that is it is invoked by the Operating Limitations that are issued as part of the airworthiness certificate. That reference to Part 43 usually defines the requirements for the annual condition inspection only. However, it is true that being allowed to perform maintenance does not mean competent to perform maintenance.]]></description>
